As we all navigate this unique and unprecedented time together, we wanted to reach out to let you know that we will do all that we can to keep our employees, our patients and their families safe and healthy. Due to recent events surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are updating you on our proactive measures and processes DeSilva Dermatology is taking, in accordance with guidelines published by the Centers for Disease Control.

Please take strict precautions regarding your personal healthcare and the healthcare of others you may be in contact with. Below are the precautions we are taking at this time and will continue to update as necessary:

Know your symptoms: If you have flu like symptoms, cough, and or fever, please call our office so that we may help you reschedule your appointment.

Travel Update: If you have traveled outside the United States and have an appointment with our office, please notify our friendly staff so we may help you reschedule your appointment if necessary.

Our office has hand sanitizer available at entry and exit points to help stop the spread of any bacteria and we encourage all patients and patient’s family members to utilize these stations when necessary.

Our office promotes thorough hand-washing for both patients and staff members. Please feel free to ask our staff to utilize one of our hand washing areas if necessary or access one of our restroom areas.

Please sneeze or cough into the crease of your elbow. If available ask our friendly staff for a mask or tissue paper. Please dispose of any used masks or tissue paper in proper trash containers.

We have posted signs and helpful information provided by the CDC in our office and handouts available for patients if requests.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in monitoring the health of our fellow patients and staff members. We appreciate you as a patient and encourage you to visit any of the websites listed below for additional information surrounding this situation.
